I had a feeling this was happening, it seemed to me the recent story lines were pointing in that direction. I was very late to the game, having read it for maybe just over a year or so. Excellent cartoon: my first job in HS was in retail, did, IIRC, three Christmas seasons. Of course this was pre-Web, if it's possible to remember such a thing in the context of retail.

I got hooked thanks to the print edition of the Toronto Star. Partly why I've continued to buy the print edition of that newspaper, although there are several other reasons why I expect to continue despite this wrap-up by Feuti.

One thing I was absolutely certain of: so long as Postmedia exists, that strip was never going to appear in any of that chain's newspapers across Canada. Why publish a strip that showed empathy to the employees of all too many prospective advertisers?
