I live here, and I'm still trying to become comfortable with some of the changes. Others are either to do anything ranging from coping with to outright celebrating.
The advantage of living in one place for a long time, getting to see major infrastructure get put in place. At least where cities are smart enough to invest in major people-moving infrastructure.
I'm always looking at changes when I go to Phoenix, I've been gone from there for 15 years and even though I'm there 3-6 times a year, the changes can be quite remarkable. Which is not to say always for the better.
