Listening to this reportage live at the moment. It is a Big Damn Deal in Canada, because it means we may be a step closer to solving the omissions of the original medicare setup of my country.

Let's hope. Of course if Scheer gets in, he'll immediately abolish it.

Scheer or Bernier, yeah. If it's either of them, they will abolish the whole plan.

If Trudeau gets re-elected, I expect that they will screw up the timing somewhat in the actual bringing it into force. But it'll still get done.

If either May or Singh wins, there's a slight to fair chance of expanding the scope and/or speed of the process of getting it done. There'll be mistakes with either of them, too, but even so...
