Da Vinci Fandom
Aug. 11th, 2007 02:52 pmYes, there is such a thing. As far as I can tell, it's still somewhat disorganized at the moment, but it's there.
One of the pieces of evidence for it is something on Yahoo!Groups called "The Stolen Briefcase", a gathering of fans of shows produced by Chris Haddock and his gang of TV show-makers. It's one of those places I go when I decide to hang my fandom-membership hat.
Tomorrow night, at about 5:30 PM(give or take a bit), there's going to be a very informal get-together of some of us. I hope to be there and have some fun as a fan.

Date: 2007-08-14 12:55 pm (UTC)I hope that 'city' get syndicated
here in Chicago so I can watch that.
Although I'll have a difficult time
following because I think the episodes
are screwy anyway. I think season 6
where he announces to run for mayor
is as far they got then started all
over again.
I don't mind, cuz CKR is in the first
couple of seasons.
But I heard the new show with Ian Tracey
is suppose to be really good.
And a couple of DVI films are supposed
to be made as well...
Some Extra News
Date: 2007-08-14 01:31 pm (UTC)As to the Da Vinci movies, the first of them, The Quality of Life, will be airing on CBC in the late fall at some point. The trailer's up on the web somewhere. Just wish I could remember the URL. I promised one of the other Briefcasers at the Ottawa meet-up that I'd track it down for them.
