I've always enjoyed looking at TV station control rooms.
Back in the '70s a friend used to live near an electronics surplus shop. We went in one day and they had the ENTIRE B&W studio for one of the local TV stations! They'd replaced everything to start broadcasting in color, and this place had bought it all. We drooled and fantasized a lot that day.
