Wondering why that is.

Well, seeing anyone nosing around from mainland China given how I feel about the current management in Beijing for one thing.

In the present climate, I'm not entirely sure what to expect. I'm already feeling edgy for reasons discussed in several other venues.

I suppose that, by making it known that I've noticed this, I'm hoping to ward off anything bad that might even be remotely possible.

I have not gone digging into the individual DNS numbers in detail. That is probably a Mistake on my part. So your point about redirection is well taken.
