There was a particular conversation involving new SHIELD Director Jeffrey Mace and newly-demoted-by-own-request-to-special field officer-in-charge Phil Coulson...and the metaphor they went with?
If Coulson gets a chance to pursue the Star Wars metaphor any further with Mace and Mace is up to date on his movie plots? He should respond to Mace's challenge of Coulson's thinking about who the real heroes of those movies were/are this way:
"No. SHIELD is the Alliance between Endor and Jakku. You're Admiral Ackbar, I'm part of his ops support staff, the people we don't ever see on camera, trying to figure out how to keep rebuilding the Republic as we go. And the process is messy. Like right now."
I'd give a lot to have the conversation resume in that direction.
