About Daredevil? (SPOILERS)

Why?
Because whether or not Mark believes the words he put in Foggy's mouth in that closing conversation, Foggy Nelson's right. Secret IDs as a cornerstone of the superhero genre...that day is over and done. This is life after Wikileaks and the Snowden Files. You give a character a secret ID, you're setting up a plot bomb. And readers will expect you to set it off sooner or later, and they will expect you to not try to roll back the consequences.
More to the point, I've come to expect it. It's part of why I walked away from the DC Universe line of titles after Flashpoint, away from Spider-Man after "One More Day".
Now this.
I've read interviews with the writer and/or editor to come, and the announced plan is to roll Matt's reveal back, yet again. I suspect there's a certain amount of MCU-TV tail wagging the comic book dog here - when has it ever not been thus between spin-off projects and the source material, whatever the spin-off project's medium of origin? It's why we have Jimmy Olsen and Kryptonite, after all! - but this is one takeback attempt too many.
And I want real change in the characters' lives to stick. Not the Illusion of Change Doctrine.
I'll be telling my local comics dealer shortly. And then maybe I get back to federal election chatter. Or I mention something from Saskatchewan that annoyed me in the lettercolumn of We Stand on Guard # 3. Mind's not yet made up on that point.
