Another Year of Living

Thanks to all for the birthday wishes offered, via papermail, e-mail, Facebook, LJ and other places besides. It's been a bit of an oddball day, between the weather veering back and forth between "walkable" and "blizzard" modes. And of course, the whole transit mess winding down in fits and starts, as noted on CBC Ottawa, octranspo and elsewhere across the Net and the real world. You'll have already seen my comments on the subject, so we won't play re-runs.

Galactica was good tonight. Everyone seemed to be true to what the last four years have made of them, good and bad. Seven more installments, and then we're done with this part of that story. And then on to Caprica to see one of the beginnings of it. Not sure how they'll move all the pieces into place for that...not yet, anyway.
