Take a look. Apparently Industry Canada's not sure what it wants to do with ESA's Mars plans...if anything at all.

To say I am displeased...is not far from the truth of the moment.

Comics Thoughts - December 2006

So I'm listening to Mr. Gross expound via NAC-issue podcast re: the state of Canadian drama on TV and at the movie theatres and I'm of a mood to talk about comic books.

(Sidenote to the NAC: if you want me to take the above link down, I will. Just ask. I do think it's worth people's time to listen to this particular podcast, though, and in the Canadian readers' case, they paid in advance for this too. All of them. Us.)

Comics and Animation Canada

"Pleasantly surprised" would be my mood at having gotten this news.

I've just been asked to serve as Manager of Comics and Animation Canada, a Google Group spun out of publicbroadcasting.ca. I've agreed to accept the invite.

I'll save the speeches for later. Meantime, if you're Canadians with an interest in comics and animation...? Or interested specifically in Canadian comics and animation, regardless of where you live?
