Effective tomorrow, I get to start trying to register for a place in line. If the local pharmacy doesn't have a spot for me, it seems that my GP might, depending on distribution details. I expect this news report to be revised as new details come in.

I signed up for a pharmacy shot over two weeks ago and have yet to receive notice of an available appointment.

I tried calling Shoppers’, after signing up my husband and getting no response for two weeks, and was told the website sign-up system doesn’t really work, but that I could book him an appointment over the phone for that day, so I’d advise trying that. I’m going to call them for myself on Tuesday now that the age has been lowered enough to let me qualify.

A trick that works down here might work up here, but it depends on how much vaccine hesitancy there is among the conservatives: find pharmacies in the most conservative districts in the area. That's assuming you have any problems finding a shot.

Best of luck to you!
