Wrapping Up Another National Birthday

I stayed close to home today, but for shopping errands. Some rice, a couple of bags of Rip-L-Chips, a Lime Coke. Nothing too fancy, just the sort of thing you can find at the local pharmacy-grocery hybrid store and gas stations. I'm sorry I didn't do much travelling, except that...well, I don't cope with crowds and heat and humidity the way I used to be able to.

We're planning on being home bodies for ours Thursday, possibly doing a late movie tomorrow night since I don't have to get up early. I do have an early Friday: one of the full-timers is taking a long weekend and is off, the boss lady has a lunch meeting and the other full-timer needs to take her lunch, which would leave the work-study alone until I got in at 1pm, so I need to be in 90 minutes early.

Thinking about doing pasta carbonnara tomorrow night, it's been some time since I've done that.
