1. David Chase fears that the end of long-form TV has arrived. I'd like him to be able to celebrate being wrong.
2. Peter Capaldi wants to make sure that entertainment talent from the lower classes remains discoverable and supported. He's absolutely right about that.
3. I got through the latest storm okay. Just so you know.
4. A lot of people miss Ed Broadbent.
5. Looks like a propagandist for Reichsters had a hand in Claudine Gay's problems at Harvard.

Just got internet back after two day outage.
Current mantra: "It'll be Spring, any day now!"
PS: I'm not sure how broadcast TV can get any worst. IMHO, being forced to pay (watching it or not) for Faux Noise and all the shopping channels is bad enough, but then there's the "Sports" channels... which i know some really like, ok... but they don't let me play so why am i forced to pay for them? Not interested in watching and there's the wee detail that there's not one local player on any of our "local" teams. All a bunch of mercenary "imports" and that just doesn't incline me to cheer any of them on.
Besides ... those team's rich owners are being funded by our tax dollars and, even so, the in-person attendance tickets are WAY-THE-F... oops... way too high. That's on top of the tax supports.
Ok... thanks for sitting through my rant.
Peace!
