Harsh Days

And I just found out that [personal profile] bunsen_h is in hospital himself now.

Not for COVID-19. For spinal injury as a consequence of someone else knocking him off his bike. Thankfully, he's alive to tell the tale himself, and has done so tonight.

*winces*

FYI: he and I know each other from the Ottawa SF Society. I think he's one of the surviving co-founders.

As of earlier tonight, he was between surgeries but well enough to post to Dreamwidth.

Argh, I so much wish other people's driving didn't, in many places I've lived, dissuade me from traveling by bike. Here's hoping for a swift, complete recovery.
