I suspect that this scenario is one of the things Scheer and company are very much afraid of right now. Which would partly explain their rush to get Parliament going on as large a scale as they can force. If Canadians get used to this, and thereby manage to accelerate the rebuilding of our domestic and international economy without ever slacking off as individuals? And they've been teaching that such slacking off would be inevitable under a "Mincome"/UBI system, remember. They never wanted the Dauphin Experiment revived, ever. Let alone on as grand a scale as we're now experiencing with CERB.
