Pandemic: Getting Good Tests

Okay. We need ways of getting our hands on good-quality self-administered COVID tests, no matter what our respective current local governments want for our futures. Wherever we live.

I am wondering what we need to do to make that availability happen.

Checking In - 17 January 2023

Got a surprise invite to a skills test online from one of those applications I filed a while back. Sorting skills stuff, the kind you need to really pay attention or you might miss a detail.

Also, looking into some possible activism.

More later, I hope.

Lung Tests II

To recap and reassure:

Those x-ray tests a month or so back already ruled out infections and tumours in the lungs. The worst cases scenarios are off the table (at least for this year). So today's "breathe into the tube hooked up to the recording computer gear" tests were intended to build up the pile of evidence with which to figure out what I am coping with. Right now, I'm leaning towards sleep apnea. But I'm the patient, not the medical professional here.

Danes in Space?

Maybe sooner than we think.

[livejournal.com profile] warrenellis pointed this one out at Wired Online:

If this works out, it could be a Most Useful Kick in Several Sets of Pants.
