Short sighted in the extreme. People, especially politicians, rarely manage to learn from history. Here in the U.S., the pandemic is far from over but pols and way too many people are self-deluding that everything is 'all better.' The tracking via testing is falling by the wayside and the "big three" data sources i have used to keep aware of the cases and deaths are now not being maintained... Guess they'd rather not have data to show that it isn't over. And it's not. So much easier to ignore an issue than to keep doing what's necessary to actually end it. Ok, rant over for today. LOL. (But every word of it is truth!)
