At 720 PM: Damn. Just found out that I missed out on the (successful) launch of TESS. More exoplanet-hunting about to get underway!

At 830 PM: Noting also: this is Bat Appreciation Day *and* National Canadian Film Day.

Double feature of your favourite Bat-movie and the Canadian film of your choice?

The problem for me is defining what "is" a Canadian film? Lots of films have portions filmed in Canada, such as stand-ins for Seattle or NYC. Lots of Canadian directors make movies elsewhere. Etc. And then you have a film like Kevin Smith's Yoga Hosers, which I thought he said in the additional material was filmed in Canada, but was shot in California. Now, Strange Brew was filmed entirely in Canada, and while Dave Thomas and Rick Moranis are definitely Canadian, I think Max Von Sydow was born somewhere further east. And it was made by MGM, which I don't think stands for Montreal-Greater Vancouver-Manitoba.
