Fear, Public Libraries and E-Books

I've got one question for Harper-Collins:

Are you trying to bankrupt public libraries?

If not, you're sure putting up a good - and scary - front about it.

Wow, blatant cash grab or what?

I'll go with option number one.

DRM is evil, and one of the main reasons why I'm sticking with the printed-copy model.

It's also why I offer all of my work (so long as I get to decide) DRM-free.

I blogged about it some time ago:

But then, I believe e-books (from regular publishers) are unfairly priced anyway:

May you remain free to make that choice to suit yourself indefinitely, then. Glad to be able to help spread the meme!
