About Those Non-US Crayon Brands?

Wallack's got back to me with an answer about the options they have either in stock or available to order:

Holbein (Japan)
Colleen Pencils (Thailand)
Bruynzeel (Holland)
Faber-Castell (Germany)
Caran d'Ache (Switzerland)
Derwent (UK)
Lyra (Germany)

Good work! I use Derwent* for preference, but also have (cheaper) Caran d'Ache back-ups and have used Faber-Castell so can vouch for their general quality.

* If you're ever in the English Lake District then Derwent have an excellent Pencil Museum, which is much more interesting and fun than you might expect. :-)

I still have a set of Venus crayons which were UK based and sold to Faber Castell some years back.
