Eye Exam 2024

This one's with my regular optometrist. Which means paying out of pocket. I think. In addition to three hours' unpaid leave from work.

Time to put some more pressure on provincial and federal governments to roll these things (back) into medicare.

Whether you pay out of pocket or not would probably depend on a number of factors: your age, whether you have some form of extended health care coverage like visioncare, your income level & sources of income... but I'm hardly an expert on that! And yes, I agree it should be a basic and essential part of medicare. Presumably Pharmacare, once we get it, should include prescription glasses?

Agreed! If a health care professional prescribes it, it should be covered!
