This is a part of St. Joseph Boulevard I visited semi-regularly for a few years. Actually, as the Place d'Orléans Mall parking lot backs onto it, I still visit the area a lot. My reasons have changed, though.Queenswood Meats, for example, was a favourite for stocking the family freezer. The owners retired, and the building first became a home for outfitting paramilitary sports enthusiasts...and right now it's a real estate dealer's office. As for Work Place Ottawa, that was a place I visited for job search support - internet and search methodology counselling and workshops - that has also since shut down.I miss the people I dealt with in both places.

From the looks of it, that pic was taken in the parking lot of the mechanic I used to frequent before I moved into the military rowhouse at the old Uplands base, after my ex kicked me out. A very fine mechanic indeed.

The car repair shop's still there. I can't make any guarantees as to the identity or skill levels of the people running the place.

Given the quality of the repairs and service I received, I'm not surprised.
