It's a case that should be remembered -- along with later cases such as the case that won women the right to abortion in 1988. That case, incidentally, took place fifteen years after American women secured their rights through the US Supreme Court's decision in Roe vs. Wade.

Canadians are not always on the progressive cutting-edge.

As for our role in the cutting edge of progressive life: not yet, we're not. Hopefully, this can and will change for the better for us all.

Sure hope so. Certainly there've been many a case in which the way the victim was dressed has been questioned...
