Ouch. Can't you walk to Place d'Orléans or some other transit node so you can catch the 95 bus?

30-60 minutes walking time in each direction between the house and Place d'Orléans has been the rule for me. Literally downhill to the Place, uphill to get home again.

Further news: Looks like getting home will be less a problem than getting to the office in question. More as I figure it out. Unless OC Transpo manages to square it all away before I start, in which case I'll have worried for nothing. That will be good news to have if/when it happens.
