Truth and Reconciliation Day 2021
So.
Here we are. Canada's first edition of the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation. One more of the Calls to Action at least partially addressed, if not yet permanently resolved.
Meanwhile, I'm washing my compression socks and bracing for a French-language skills test later this morning as part of my job-searching process. House chores and job hunting never end while I'm still theoretically employable and yet still unemployed. And there are other health issues to be addressed as this day continues.
It's a federal holiday today in Canada, and while the city's respecting the occasion, the province isn't all the way "there" yet.
