RIP Toshiba Computers?

I still have a working Toshiba Satellite. It was the first computer I bought by myself for myself.

Yeah, I saw that yesterday. I've owned a couple, and they were good. I loved the fact that one of them had a built-in AC power converter and only needed an AC cable: no schlepping a brick around!

We've had at least a couple of Toshiba Satellites, I generally thought well of them. Been buying Asus Zenbooks lately, admittedly.

My first computer was a Tandy 1000 EX, bought at Radio Shack in 1987. It came with a single floppy drive. I eventually upgraded it with a second floppy drive and an internal 20MB hard drive.

I used it for about 4 or 5 years until I replaced it with a Yamaha C1 Music Computer. It was about 1995 when I finally bought a conventional tower PC.
