Roberta Bondar: First Flight Plus 15

It's been fifteen years since Dr. Bondar went where no woman of Canada had gone before, as CBC helped remind me today.

What Sally Ride is for the States, and Valentina Tereshkova for Soviet Russia, she is for us. And while she's not flying any higher than a commercial jetliner these days, she's still doing good work as neurologist, photographer, and activist.
