There have been cases where people bought nanny-cams to watch their kids, only for people to hack them, turn on the speakers, and start saying totally inappropriate things to their kids.

There was also the recent conviction of a guy who worked for ADT, an American security company (dunno if they're also up there) who convinced people to install cameras in their bedroom then spied on women.
