    <content type="html">Some random notes:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;- &lt;a href="http://spacing.ca/toronto/2021/11/04/history-on-the-rocks/"&gt;Beth Simons writes for Spacing Toronto about the discovery of incomplete headstones made for Jewish cemetery use.&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;- I watched &lt;b&gt;Star Trek: Prodigy&lt;/b&gt; tonight. Not bad. Some cringey bits of dialogue, or maybe it was the character interactions that annoyed more than the dialogue. More believable than I'd like in places, maybe? I have to remember that most of the main characters are newly escaped-from-enslavement children here. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;- I got somewhat lucky today: someone else cancelled, so my molar repair gets moved up the dentist's schedule to tomorrow morning. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;- My Eye Institute exam got pushed back again, this time to next February. One of my friends from local fandom is down with a serious illness, not COVID-19 but probably terminal.
