With apologies to Matt Dusk.
Seeing as we've got a few new faces here on the friendlist...let's update!
I'm Dwight Williams, self-appointed Storyteller in Words and Pictures with some of the arrogance that goes with that. I don't know where the rest of the arrogance I'm supposed to have is, but it seems to have been misplaced somehow en route to my door.
Currently, there's a couple of Big Projects on my plate. The one I've mentioned previously, drawing the artwork for the first issue of Local Hero is on temporary hold. My partner on this series of mini-series -- thus have we planned things out -- is one Ian Gould.
The other is...well, it's space opera. More than that, I'll share as things develop further.
Other, smaller projects are on various burners and hopefully something will come of them all in due course.
My main website, detailing my history in the field of writing and illustration to date, some of my favourite places, devices for the work, likes and dislikes in the worlds of entertainment and so on, is here.
You're looking at my Livejournal right now, of course. And running parallel to this blog is my ArtBlog. The ArtBlog is where I'll occasionally post artwork from behind the scenes of whatever project is currently my main focus, as well as the occasional random sketch(line art or CGI) or photo, just because I feel like it that day.
As of April 2010, I still live in the city of Ottawa, national capital of Canada. I'm usually pleased about this fact for reasons I occasionally discuss at some length.
I contribute on occasion to other blogs, including the original publicbroadcasting.ca blog, still active as such...and spacingottawa.ca, a blog devoted to urban infrastructure issues here in Ottawa-Gatineau, linked up with Spacing Magazine.
If you want to reach me via e-mail, check my profile page. There should be at least one e-mail address there, or if not, then the homepage referred to above should provide for e-mail contact info. I'll be particularly interested if anyone wants me for commission work, but if you've got a subject that catches my eye, I won't ignore you right off the bat...?
